Our eco-aware commitments

We chose a comprehensive approach aiming to lower our water and energy consumption and limit the impact of the campsite on nature. This approach allowed us to get the AFNOR label (www.ecolabel.fr) and the European eco-label.
First campsite on the French Riviera having the label,
here are the concrete actions into operation:

• We water our hedges, trees and massifs via drip watering supplied with farm pesticide-free water.
• Each rented accommodation is equipped with consumption meter allowing the detection of possible leaks.
• The bathroom units, the public water taps and the accommodation are equipped with water saving devices. Our staff is trained to detect leaks.

• 100 % of the electricity we buy comes from sustainable energy sources.
• Some of the bathroom unit hot water production comes from solar energy (solar panels)
• Hot water production is electric in the wooden lodges and the bathroom units, so CO2-free.
• The swimming-pool is warmed via a heat pump to reduce electric consumption.
• All the rented accommodation, bathroom units and public lighting are equipped with low consumption bulbs.
• The electric equipments (fridge, oven and so on…) of the lodges are A or A+ economic category ones.

• The campsite has a special area for recycling sorting.
• The wooden lodges are equipped with recycling sorting bins.
• Dangerous waste and old food oils are stocked apart and collected by specialized recycling firms.

• The cleaning products we use have an eco-label.
• We don't use chemical fertilizers but natural fertilizers.
• We save a part of green waste to make compost.

• We have planted more than 800 trees of local tree species only.
• We give priority to natural materials in our equipments (outer wooden cladding of the lodges, wooden playground and so on …).
• Our secondary roads and our car parks are made out of draining material in order to make easier water seepage in to the soils.

• Our brochures and our writing paper are made out of recycled paper.
• We give priority to the communication via mail.
• We offer walks, discoveries and nature visits.
• For your visual and hearing comfort, the pitches are delineated by hedges.
• Vehicle traffic is forbidden in the campsite from 10.00 P.M to 7.30 A.M.
• We offer bike hiring on the spot..
• Our snack bar offers fair trade coffee and a choice of organic meals for lunch.
• We offer accommodation equipped for disabled people to accommodate each one in the best conditions.
