Discovering the Golden Islands

Opposite the peninsula of Giens, the islands of Hyères float at the horizon. They can be reached from the harbour of La Tour Fondue at 15 minutes from the campsite.

Porquerolles, the biggest island of the two islands, will welcome you ina charming village before inviting you to enjoy its fine sand beaches edged by a turquoise and Caribbean like water.
Port-Cros, smaller island, is more preserved. It can only be visited by foot, along the steep paths that will take you to the fortress dominating the harbour, or up to the beach of Palud in the shade of the rocks.

The beauty of the Var coast

Around camping Lou Pantaï, you’ll discover the most beautiful areas of the Côte d'Azur with, in Le Pradet, a preserved coast (no buildings along the seafront!), offering 5 beaches and small creeks.

Also discover the charming little fisherman’s villages scattered along the Var coast up to Toulon, or breathe the sea air by visiting the peninsula of Giens. Facing the famous fine sand beach of Almanarre, the saltworks where flamingoes and other birds are living, will delight you.

In Le Pradet, you are ideally located for day trips to visit the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the Gorges du Verdon or the calanques of Cassis.

In all cases, we will recommend our favourite sites to visit !
